Major regional TV broadcaster TV Oberfranken has begun using eyevis technology to display information to its viewers in their new studio.
The installation at the station studio in Hof features seven monitors from eyevis unique broadcast series. The displays type EYE-LCD-4600-M-USN-LD-BC feature a optimized LCD panel structure and Direct-LED backlight, to maximise the quality of what viewers see.
The 46-inch seamless display is a key part of broadcasts and has been incorporated into the set design. In a 3×1 and two 2×1 configurations the screens provide additional information to the viewers or design element that complement the new studio set design.
Thanks to the ultra-thin bezel design of the displays the resulting gap between the images of neighbouring displays measures only 5.7 mm.
The client chose the eyevis products after an on-site demonstration. Thanks to the implementation of eyevis? signal converters and EYE-4-SPLIT image processors, the installation allows the processing of a HD-SDI Studio Signal in a video split wall.
