ILFORD, one of the oldest photographic brands in the market, will be launching their latest product innovations at Fespa on stand J48, Hall 1 from 8th – 11th March in Amsterdam.
ILFORD has long been at the forefront of product innovation in the imaging industry and ILFOCHROME, a complete system solution for producing images with premium quality, durability, as well as stunning detail, colour and clarity, is the latest extension to the portfolio.
In addition, ILFORD will also be previewing the latest additions to the ILFOGUARD laminating and mounting range as well as unveiling the new ILFOGUARD L-26 Pro laminating machine.
ILFOCHROME System
The ILFOCHROME System combines the latest dye sublimation media, Ilfotrans, with the ILFOCHROME aluminium panels to create prints that will offer any commercial printer a real point of differentiation within their portfolio of services.

Dye Sublimation Printer
Sawgrass has been a leader in the dye sublimation market for over 25 years and the Virtuoso range includes desktop printers that are tailored for this application. The Sawgrass ink set offer the combination of colour gamut and longevity required.
Ilfotrans Dye Sublimation Paper
The new Ilfotrans dye sublimation media has a unique nanoporous coating that means that the sublimation process is twice as fast* saving both time and money during the process.
*The increased output is printer dependent.
Heat Press
Sefa, with over 40 years experience, is the partner of choice for the heatpress. The Rotex RMX manual heat press has a swing-away open and the optimum distribution of pressure and temperature for this application.

ILFOCHROME Panels
The premium ILFOCHROME aluminium panels are available in a range of finishes including Platinum Gloss, Platinum Satin, Platinum Matt, Metallic Gloss, Metallic Matt and Plaque Gloss. The panels are available in a range of sizes from 4” x 4” up to a maximum of A3.
ILFORD can tailor the final solution depending on the requirements of the commercial printer. The complete start-up kit is available which has all the components including the dye sublimation printer and the heat press. Alternatively, ILFORD has a range of consumable kits from 4” x 4” to A3 that include the Ilfotrans media and ILFOCHROME aluminium and wooden panels.
ILFOGUARD
Well known in the market for offering premium quality inkjet photo paper, ILFORD also offers a total solution for the commercial printer. ILFORD now has a complete laminating and mounting solution with the introduction of the ILFOGUARD Pro Lam 26 and a wide range of laminates and adhesives for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The ILFOGUARD Pro Lam 26 is suitable for laminating and mounting a range of photographic or printed inkjet media. A foot switch operates the motorised laminator so the operator has both hands free to handle the material that is being processed. The 26” laminator can handle board thicknesses up to 25mm and has a maximum laminating width of 667mm.
ILFORD will be offering visitors to Fespa the opportunity to purchase the new ILFOGUARD Pro Lam 26 along with a 650mm roll of ILFORD Pro Gloss, Powermount Uni and ILFOGUARD Floor at a special kit price of 995 euros.
