Container Solutions to present and exhibit at microservice-focused events this summer

Cloud Native Computing Foundation and other major new sponsors sign on to support Software Circus event with Container Solutions.

LONDON — 8th June 2016 — Container Solutions, a pan-European company delivering software engineering services and building tools for microservices developers, is taking its message of empowering software developers to a wide audience this summer, exhibiting and speaking at events across Europe and the United States.

The company is a co-organiser of the Software Circus event in Amsterdam, which has secured the support of several major new sponsors, including the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), a Linux Foundation project.

Eight events are on the schedule:

• MesosCon North America, 1st June, Denver, Colorado, U.S.
• HashiConf EU, 13-15th June, Amsterdam
• Goto; Amsterdam, 13-16th June, Amsterdam
• Scala Days, 13-17th June, Berlin
• DockerCon, 19-21st June, Seattle
• MesosCon EU, 3st August – 1st September, Amsterdam
• Software Circus, 1-2nd September, Amsterdam
• HashiConf US, September 6-8, Napa, California, U.S.

Frank Scholten, senior software engineer at Container Solutions, presented a session at MesosCon North America titled, “minimesos – The Experimentation and Testing Tool for Apache Mesos.” The open source minimesos project solves a problem common among developers of container-based applications by allowing them to quickly bring up a containerized Apache Mesos cluster on their laptop, complete with Apache Zookeeper and Weave Scope, for visualisation.

Software Circus Event Gains Major Sponsorship Support
Software Circus, the conference organised by Container Solutions and Implicit-Explicit, welcomes the Cloud Native Computing Foundation as a major, new sponsor of the annual event in Amsterdam.

Software Circus started last year in Amsterdam as a Meetup group with a mission to move away from vendor-dominated Meetups and tackle the social aspects of technology, the bleeding edges and people–s experience. The group grew quickly as Software Circus gained a reputation as a fun and valuable exchange of knowledge.

The 2015 Software Circus—organised in just 10 weeks—brought together prominent influencers like Kelsey Hightower, Ken Owens, Luke Marsden and Adrian Cockcroft, and companies like Cisco, CloudSoft, Mesosphere and Weave. The conference quickly grew to one full day of workshops and two days of sessions—and dancing, robots and drones. Videos of the 2015 event can be found at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmetgWfuYAIX8_byQU2XA6WL6t8mIHxwV

The conference earned a reputation as an antidote to the brush steel and chrome of so many conferences, devoid of product pitches. Software Circus Meetups have spread to Switzerland, Germany, the UK and San Francisco.
