Sauce Labs Named to Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 08/19/16 — , provider of the world–s largest cloud-based platform for automated testing of web and mobile applications, today announced its ranking in the top 10 percent of all 5000 companies featured in the 2016 , a prestigious list of the nation–s fastest-growing companies. Sauce Labs was further honored by making the top 20 list of companies based in San Francisco.

“We are thrilled that Sauce Labs was included in the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, especially as we celebrate our recent milestone of 700 million tests run on our platform to date,” said Charles Ramsey, CEO. “Sauce experienced tremendous growth over the past three years, 952 percent to be exact, and our momentum continues. Our success is a testament to our customers who continue to use Sauce to release better software faster.”

The Inc. 5000 offers the most comprehensive look at America–s independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino–s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000. This year, the average company on the list achieved a three-year growth of 433%.

Sauce Labs provides a high-performance, cloud-based automated testing platform that is optimized for continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) workflows. When tests are automated and run in parallel on virtual machines and/or real devices, testing time is significantly reduced and IT teams no longer need to devote time to managing testing infrastructure. Sauce currently supports more than 700 browser, operating system and device platform combinations, including mobile emulators, simulators and real devices.

“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great — usually from scratch. That–s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”

The Inc. 5000 is a prestigious ranking of U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent companies, based on percentage revenue growth when comparing 2012 to 2015. For the full list of this year–s Inc. 5000 winners, visit:
