Logicalis Europe appoints Ed Charvet as Chief Strategy Officer

New role will interpret major industry trends into go to market strategy for European market.

London, 20th September 2017 – Logicalis Group, the international IT solutions and managed services provider, has announced the appointment of Edward Charvet as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for their European region.

The purpose of this new role is to drive the strategic execution of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the European Region as Logicalis continues to grow as a digital enabler for its customers. Ed will interpret major industry trends such as the current digital disruptors, into a credible and powerful GTM vision which can be relevant across the diverse markets that Logicalis operates in, in Europe.

Ed previously worked for Logicalis, as a Business Analyst between 2003 to 2006. He left the business and founded Trovus, which was then acquired by Logicalis UK in 2015, which today forms the Information Insights business unit. In 2016, he helped establish the Advisory Services practice within the UK. He is respected for his active focus on the evolution of technology and importantly how these changes impact the commercial landscape.

Commenting on the appointment Ruediger Rath, CEO Logicalis Europe, said: “Ed’s experience of working closely with customers to capitalise on technology trends and monetise the value of these offers to their businesses will give us a significant advantage as we help customers on their digital transformation journey.

“Ed will further enhance relationships with key vendors and new partners, as well as support the senior management team, to identify appropriate acquisition targets.”
