Top3 Best Escape Room Puzzle Ideas




These are the most common and flexible escape room puzzles ideas that we?ve seen in our experience doing 60+ escape rooms across the United States and Europe. These ideas are not specific to any particular theme or company, and can be adapted to work well in most rooms.
If you?ve heard of escape rooms before, than you know the general premise: you and your friends are contained within a room with a series of puzzles and clues to solve. You then try to ?escape? the room within the allotted amount of time. However, you might not be sure what kind of puzzles you?ll actually encounter. In truth, there?s a little bit of everything. Here?s some of the most frequent possibilities.

On one end of the spectrum, these puzzle ideas can be perfect for an escape room on a tight budget. On the other end of the spectrum, some of the best escape rooms in North America use these ideas with stellar execution.
1. Da Vinci code lock / DaVinci Letter Password Lock
Da Vinci code lock is generally used in escape room game. It has classical styling and elegant design. Room owners can hide some clues in the box. Then players should find the password of 6 alphabet letters (from A to Z) to unlock. Moreover, it can be a special gift for your friend, you can put some notes, poems, jewelry, keys or other valuables in it.

2. Jigsaw puzzle system
Players will find some scrambled puzzle pieces on the computer display screen. They should assemble the pieces to get a complete picture, then the system will display(show) a picture or video clue for the next step. Meanwhile, the system will release a 12V EM lock or light up a 12V bulb.
3. Magic Panel prop
There are 28 symbols with 28 indicator lamps on the panel. When players trigger the prop, the magic panel will show password with audio for players by lighting up the corresponding indicator lamps of symbols.
