The maestros amongst PCB separators

Precise separation

In the field of PCB separation, devices of the MAESTRO series cut pre-scored PCB of different lengths and materials. Only 33 cm in height, 20 cm in width and 62 cm in depth, the compact MAESTRO 2M requires little footprint. A motor drive supports separating PCB up to 300 mm in length, particularly when the component density is high or margin strips are thin. The MAESTRO 3E enables manual separation up to 450 mm in length. It provides support tables for PCB feed and board deposit after separation. The MAESTRO 4S separates PCB up to 600 mm in length motor-driven in up to five steps. Traversing the pre-scored groove several times reduces tensile and compressive stress and preserves sensitive components. cab exhibits a MAESTRO 4S with the blade specifically positioned, so 3.4 mm thick FR4 or aluminum can be separated. If large quantities are processed in assembly lines, the motor-driven MAESTRO 5L is economic by separating up to 14 adjacent PCB simultaneously. After separation, the boards are deposited on the built-in conveyor belt. The MAESTRO 6/1203 separates FR4, CEM3 and aluminum PCB up to 1,200 mm in length with little mechanical stress with the help of three circular blades.

Loader / unloader

When it comes to PCB transport in magazines, precision, stability and flexible handling are required features. cab magazines are made of electrostatically conductive plastic. The stable and rugged frame construction guarantees a long service life in production areas. If different PCB sizes are processed, the magazines have to be constantly adjusted to the PCB width. In the case of the magazines shown by cab on the fair, the moveable side wall can be adjusted to the targeted width by screw clamping (series 600), by hand with a toothed belt (series 700), or motor-driven (series 800) to integrate to fully automatic assembly plants. Depending from the type of device, the magazines offer space to insert 60, 130 or 200 PCB.

Permanent imprint

cab since more than 40 years has been developing and manufacturing devices and systems for component, product and package marking. In Nuremberg, the industrial Hermes and SQUIX label printers are provided with modules to automatically apply labels. Using the example of an EOS printer, trade show visitors will experience how a label printer can be power-supplied from a battery when power sockets to access electricity are missing. To open a MACH 4S label printer, the cover can be widely opened to the top. The label material and the ribbon are inserted from above resp. the front in the printer. The XENO 1 desktop system enables direct fiber laser marking of metal or plastic workpieces. The laser source and the control unit are integrated in one common laser safety housing according to laser protection class 1. XENO 1 is delivered ready to operate and has the marking software cabLase included. Connection is established either via Ethernet on a local PC or in the network.
