The RFID Desktop Reader EVO UHF is a stationary RFID reader for the direct connection to a PC or Laptop via USB 2.0 interface. Newly arrived products can be transferred directly to the system via high-speed data transfer.

Sales representatives are constantly on the move. The correct allocation of the representatives stock of products must be possible in different locatiosn. Due to its handy and compact design, the compact RFID Stick Reader EVO UHF can be easily transported. It enables fast allocation and identification of goods.

► RFID UHF FUNCTION FOR A VARIETY OF TRANSPONDERS

Both RFID readers support the ISO 18000-6C standard (EPC Class 1 Generation 2) and the Alien Higgs 2/3/4, Impinj Monza, NXP UCODE, etc. transponders. The integrated antenna receives linear polarized signals. By default, the RFID readers are equipped with the USB VCP function (Read & Write). Optionally, they are also available with a USB HID function (read access via keyboard emulation).

► ADJUSTABLE EPC-LENGTH FILTER WITH USB VCP FUNCTION

The writing and personalization of RFID labels is possible using the USB VCP function. The definition of unique product numbers, product data or expiration dates can be written on the transponder. The supplied firmware filters EPC codes up to 512 bits. The codes can be set to different lengths. The EPC length filter is 2 …18 bytes (16 …144 bits). The EPC length can be up to 62 bytes (496 bits). The most common EPC lengths are 12 and 16 bytes (96 and 128 bits).

► ALL PRODUCT DATA AT A GLANCE WITH THE USB HID FUNCTION

The optional USB HID function recognizes the computer as an input device and outputs the read-in data as file formats such as HEX (MSB), DEC (MSB), HEX (LSB), DEC (LSB) or ASCII. An automatic acquisition of additional data during the identification of an RFID label is possible. The User Memory Bank can be used to read out product-related properties or warehouse data.
