BBWF2019: Zyxel to deliver multi-gig experience with new WiFi 6, 10G PON and Managed WiFi solutions

Hsinchu, Taiwan, 9 October 2019 ? Zyxel Communications announced today the expansion of its WiFi 6 (11ax) portfolio, a brand-new managed WiFi solution, MPro Mesh, and a 10G PON end-to-end solution – designed to empower service providers to unlock the full potential of their networks and deliver multi-gigabit connectivity to their customers. The solutions will be exhibited at booth F38 at the upcoming Broadband World Forum (BBWF) in Amsterdam.

WiFi 6 for every deployment scenario
Designed to provide multi-gigabit WiFi and support more devices simultaneously, Zyxel?s expanded WiFi 6 portfolio offers the choice of DSL, Ethernet, Active Fiber, PON, and extender models that can fit a variety of deployment scenarios. Also making its global debut, is Zyxel?s MPro Mesh solution which combines the proven abilities of its Managed WiFi solution with the industry standard, EasyMesh to deliver corner-to-corner, high-performance WiFi with even greater mesh hardware compatibility.

?As more devices are falling into the hands of end-users, bandwidth demands are in turn increasing at an exponential rate, meaning service providers? networks must keep pace with their customers? demands,? said Allen Lin, Vice President at Zyxel Broadband EMEA Business Unit. ?Our newest range of solutions have specifically been designed with this in mind; from ultra-fast, whole-home WiFi coverage to delivering gigabit connectivity to the home or enabling seamless connectivity on the move, we are ensuring service providers can deliver a multi-gigabit experience to their customers ? wherever they are.?

Alleviate network bottleneck with 10G PON
Zyxel will also demonstrate how service providers can unlock capacity to deliver true gigabit to the home, with its brand-new 10G PON Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and 10G PON Optical Network Terminal (ONT). Also, witness how service providers can extend gigabit broadband to areas where economic fiber delivery is unfeasible with the latest G.fast 212 MHz Distribution Point Unit (DPU) model.

5G NR Fixed Wireless Access for fixed line replacement
Supporting the vast range of devices, services and deployments 5G will encompass, Zyxel?s 5G New Radio (NR) will also be on display. These solutions are part of Zyxel?s comprehensive portfolio of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), designed to deliver multi-gigabit broadband over existing mobile networks.

Zyxel will exhibit at Broadband World Forum 2019, at RAI, Amsterdam, the Netherlands in booth, F38, from Tuesday, October 15 to Thursday, October 17. For more information, please visit bbwf.zyxel.com.
