Synspectiveâ€?s Second SAR Satellite “StriX-ß” Successfully Reaches Its Target Orbit




TOKYO, 2022, March 1st – Synspective Inc., a SAR satellite data and solutions provider, announced today that StriX-ß, its second SAR satellite, has successfully reached its target orbit. On March 1st (JST), StriX-ß was deployed by Rocket Labâ€?s Electron rocket at Rocket Labâ€?s Launch Complex on the Mahia Peninsula, New Zealand. The satellite reached target orbit, a Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO), with an altitude of 561km.

Functions including observation and data acquisition will be verified over the next several months. Details will be shared and updated on Synspective�s website.
