The Big Five&five questions to Virginia Giesen León

Working only to earn money was yesterday. Today a job has to make you happy too. What happens when you align your personal life goals the “big five” with your work, just like Virginia Giesen León, Admin and Customer Service at Traxpay.

Why do you work at Traxpay?

An HR employee from Traxpay had contacted me on LinkedIn and actively approached me. I really enjoyed the subsequent interview with Sandra and Ferdinand. Coming from the hotel industry, I was up for a challenge in a Fintech. I was keen to get a taste of the financial industry and get to know it. So without further ado, I started at Traxpay.

Does your job make you really happy?

I like the variety and flexibility of my job at Traxpay: In addition to Support, Inside Sales and Testing, I have also already looked into Product Management. This is because me and my team are constantly taking care of collecting and prioritizing the suppliers\- suggestions for improvement and passing them on to the product department. It makes me happy that I can help shape the products and thus make the suppliers happy.

How important is customer support for you?

I have a \”helper syndrome\” and am used to satisfying customers from the hotel industry. It\-s important to react quickly and find the best solutions. Making suppliers happy is something I can do and that\-s exactly what I like. Happy customers stay with us, use our products and recommend us to others. That\-s what I work on every day!

What is at the top of your agenda?

The daily tasks I deal with come first. Then comes the topic of sustainability. Followed by continuous improvement for me and for the company.

What would you do differently in your professional life today?

I think it would have been good if I had taken more finance courses at university or done my Master\-s in Finance. Since I am now working as a Fintech Lady.

I am also a very big animal and plant freak and a fan of \”sustainability\”. That\-s where I\-d like to go from here. Sustainability is becoming more and more important and there are more and more opportunities to get more involved professionally. What I like about Traxpay is that we already have a sustainability feature that suppliers can use. Corporates can make a big impact with that.

Maybe one day I will also have a Youtube channel and become an \”impact influencer\”.
