16×9 Europe launches HDV online-shop

The Munich based HDV specialists have completed their website by means of the popular xt commerce shop software. The site www.16x9europe.com is the only etailstore in Europe, which is solely dedicated to HDV (High Defintion Video) accessories. Customers will now find it even more structured and obtain simpler access to product information. A powerful search engine makes finding products easier. There will be monthly specials and a bazar which offers sales and bargains. Due to it’s huge store keeping facilities, 16×9 Europe garantuees fast and easy delivery. Highlight of the 16×9 shop is the 16×9 own “EX-Collection”, which consists of wide converters, tele converters and DV camcorder bags, the so-called Grab & Shoot bags. The Grab & Shoot bags hold camcorders ready to shoot with the mattebox installed; the top-front tongue panel unzips for quick and easy access to the carrier-s central chamber. Besides it’s own 16×9 “Ex-Collection”, HDV accessories from various high end manufacturers such as Petrol, Swit, Noga, B&W Outdoor cases, Chrosziel HDV kits and Thunderflash HDMI cables are featured. HD Camcorder specials are momentarily p.ex. the new Sony PMW-EX1 and a specially designed virtually indestructible B&W outdoor case. 16×9 Europe will regularly post information around HDV as well as test reports, events and press releases in order to share it’s enormous know-how with the HDV community.

Frank Björnsen, General Manager Sales at 16×9 Europe, seems very proud: „HDV cams are small and and attract widespread interest, sparking a trend of affordable HD production. HDV was designed to offer existing video production environments a cost-conscious upgrade path from standard-definition (SD) to high-definition (HD) video. HDV addresses individuals and organizations specifically interested in video production, and are generally sold to amateur videographers, local production and marketing agencies. HD video can be edited on a modern PC, and burned and distributed on home-video DVDs. A trend can be seen whereby HDV cams are used for live coverages in the news. 16×9 Europe has a substantial product portfolio offering HD Cams, converters, LED lights, articulated arms and indestructable outdoor cases. We are convinced, that our product range and the short delivery times will even meet the highest demands of the production professionals. “
