Ingram Micro Cloud Welcomes Kaseya; Announces Immediate Availability of New Cloud-Based Solutions From Symantec and Trend Micro

SANTA ANA, CA — (Marketwire) — 10/18/11 — The Services Division of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) is pleased to announce Kaseya, an industry-leading provider of automated IT systems management software for managed service providers (MSPs), has joined the Ingram Micro Cloud vendor portfolio and will be offering its popular Kaseya IT Center remote management and monitoring (RMM) product to Ingram Micro channel partners throughout the U.S.

In addition, the Ingram Micro Cloud is now offering additional cloud-based solutions from industry leaders Symantec and Trend Micro to channel partners in North America. These solutions include the easy-to-deploy Symantec Backup Exec.cloud, which assists solutions providers in protecting customers- critical data by automatically streaming it — fully encrypted — to Symantec-s secure, off-site data centers, and Trend Micro Deep Security, a comprehensive physical, virtual and cloud server security platform comprising multiple agentless and agent-based defenses, preventing breaches, enabling compliance, and maximizing virtualization and cloud ROI.

The new trio of Ingram Micro Cloud solutions, as well as Symantec Endpoint Protection.cloud and Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services, are being promoted as part of the Services Division-s expanding cloud portfolio at this week-s Ingram Micro 2011 Fall VentureTech Network (VTN) Invitational in Las Vegas. Each service is readily available for purchase by Ingram Micro channel partners.

“The Ingram Micro Cloud has announced 12 new vendors relationships and brought to market more than 25 new cloud solutions in the last nine months,” says Renee Bergeron, vice president, managed services and cloud computing, Ingram Micro North America. “We-re seeing positive gains within our partner community and continue to lead the market as the IT industry-s top cloud services aggregator and single source distribution partner.”

Launched in November 2010, the Ingram Micro Cloud offers a variety of innovative cloud solutions and best practices that are proven to make it easier for VARs, MSPs and cloud service providers to identify and address their clients- business problems proactively with cost-effective, performance-rich IT solutions and services. “The addition of these new solutions to our cloud portfolio, plus the upcoming launch of our transactional, online Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, sets the stage for continued IT services growth in 2012 and beyond,” says Bergeron.

The Ingram Micro Cloud () provides channel partners access to hundreds of business, strategy, marketing, technical and sales resources including the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, a transactional, online marketplace where solution providers can shop, procure, provision and obtain invoices for their cloud services directly from Ingram Micro. A live demonstration of the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace will take place on main stage at the 2011 Fall VTN Invitational.
