FarmPilot is the manufacturer-independent online portal that connects agricultural machinery, end devices, and software programs with one another. This enables farmers and contractors to exercise optimum control over their equipment and operating processes using FarmPilot. This product, introduced for the first time at AGRITECHNICA 2009, has been custom-tailored during the development process to even better meet the requirements of farmers and contractors.
In a pioneering upgrade available since March, FarmPilot can be used on mobile devices. With the FarmPilot App, conventional smartphones become a mobile terminal, thereby offering efficient and flexible fleet and order management.
FarmPilot’s mobile solution also offers the possibility of “paperless documentation.” Users will be able to log their services directly via their mobile terminal device in the future. Important information about operational procedures can be entered directly on site – without paper chaos and without losing time. Data logged in the portal is then stored centrally and can be used later for tasks such as invoicing, for example. The bottom line is that the user spends less time on administration and more time on their core business, while all the time increasing transparency.
