(TSX: BYL), a global provider of innovative antenna solutions for the mobile, broadband and wireless infrastructure markets, today announced that its subsidiary, Galtronics, has appointed Mr. Ray Hild to the newly created position, North American Vice President – Infrastructure Sales. Mr. Hild will report to Mr. Ben Bar, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing. Mr. Hild is based in the United States and will be focusing on expanding the Company–s infrastructure business in North America. He will commence his new role on October 1st, 2014.

Mr. Hild most recently served as Director of Strategic DAS Accounts for Corning Optical Communications. While at Corning, he focused on growing its wireless in-building DAS solutions business, building brand awareness and creating strategic programs. In 2012 and 2011, he won the President–s Council Award from Corning for his work. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Hild worked for Sprint Nextel where he was responsible for a variety of custom network solutions for healthcare, government and higher-education customers. From 1996 to 2005, prior to its acquisition by Sprint, Mr. Hild was with Nextel where he grew the company–s Mid-Atlantic operations to become a national leader in winning and managing new corporate and government accounts in the United States.
Mr. Hild is an active founding member of the well-known “Het-Net Forum” (formerly known as the “DAS In Action Forum”). As a well-respected member of the Forum, Mr. Hild is consistently expanding his professional network and deepening his industry relationships.
