The company has also received Talon–s first payment of $200,000.00 as required under that agreement. SpectralCast will be completing the prototype, and beginning alpha testing for, Talon Safety Systems–, first of its kind, tri-axial location beaconing system. Talon–s product line is expected to be ready for sales in the second quarter of 2015.
Talon–s products will incorporate SpectralCast–s proprietary beacon technology. This technology allows for an independent and secure network protocol to be established in the field. The beacon will have the unique ability to triangulate direction, range and azimuth from a single base unit and will have better range, and a much higher degree of accuracy, than previously available methods.
