, which was , requires developers to submit their applications to Sage for testing in order to validate best practice integration methodologies, version compliance, appropriate use of activity codes, intended functionality, installation/uninstallation and data integrity.

“Sage aims to provide a rich ecosystem of quality third-party solutions to help companies meet their unique business goals, and the Sage ERP X3 Certification Program certainly makes it easy for our customers to identify these quality solutions,” Rich Spring, chief revenue officer at Sage. “The certification ensures that third-party solutions adhere to standard Sage ERP X3 business rules and development guidelines.”

All three developers will be exhibiting at , the company–s annual event taking place July 27-30, 2015, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Sage Summit will provide small and medium-sized businesses with an unparalleled experience that will foster new ideas, enable informed decision making and improve problem solving through powerful conversations with peers and leaders and interactions with the dreamers and doers of today–s marketplace.

Provenio offers its Procession software as an enhancement suite to Sage ERP X3 specifically for the chemical industry.

The combination of Procession and Sage ERP X3 provides chemical companies with one system for formula management, productivity enhancement tools, the creation of material safety data sheets and monitoring of quality control, among other features.

Provenio President David Padgett says the alternative is to cobble together disparate solutions from multiple vendors, which makes the integration into the ERP system and management extremely difficult.

“We eliminate the need to create little islands of data, which enables data to flow much more easily through the entire product creation process, from developing the formula to creating the safety data sheet, processing sales orders and shipping,” added Padgett. “We wanted to go through the Sage ERP X3 Certification process to give us have more exposure to prospective customers in the chemical industry that can really benefit from our solution that we might not have been able to reach otherwise.”

The V1 Document Management solution is part of the company–s portfolio of award-winning document management and imaging software solutions primarily for finance, HR and payroll functions.

Integration with Sage ERP X3 allows a business to easily create electronic versions of paper files such as invoices, purchase orders and shipping forms and move them into the central EDM repository. Files can be categorized and tagged, making it easy for any authorized personnel to quickly search for and recover them.

V1 Vice President for North America Paul Holland says earning the Sage ERP X3 Certification will not only create new sales opportunities in the SMB market, it will also shorten the sales cycle. Prospective customers can be confident V1 provides fully integrated EDM in Sage ERP X3 with over 200 customers using the solution today. This avoids organizations having to spend time performing the due diligence required before working with other vendors.

“Most big companies recognize the efficiencies and cost benefits in reducing the amount of paper flow that supports their financial processes, and what we–re able to do is bring those big company benefits to small and medium-sized organizations, just like Sage does,” added Holland. “The certification will reassure Sage business partners and customers that this is a third-party solution that has passed muster, if you like, and that of course is very beneficial to V1. Achieving that degree of acceptance strengthens our partnership with Sage and allows us to leverage that certification in the market.”

XM Developments– Symphony eCommerce is the only Sage-certified cloud-based e-commerce web store that features real-time, two-way integration to Sage ERP X3. It simplifies business processes and eliminates the need to manage data in two locations.

XM Developments President Jim McLean says the company built Symphony eCommerce from the ground up to work with Sage ERP X3. The result is the only Sage-certified 100 percent cloud-based e-commerce solution that inserts orders and payments in real time and updates an e-commerce web store with product, order and client details automatically. Customers have access to up-to-the-minute information wherever and whenever they need it.

“Security is absolutely critical to all of our customers, so it is a key aspect of the rigorous testing Sage conducted on our solution. I know Sage customers will realize benefits from the deep integration of Symphony eCommerce with Sage ERP X3,” said McLean. “It–s very easy for any developer to claim it has a solution that integrates with it, but now certification ensures that we can make that statement based on fact, not on marketing.”

The Provenio Procession, V1 Document Management Solution and the XM Developments Symphony eCommerce applications will be listed as Sage ERP X3 certified solutions in the Sage Certified Solutions section of the company–s partner directory. This ensures a Sage customer can quickly and easily discover and learn more about their features and capabilities. All three will also be included on the “Sage Certified Solutions” section of the Sage price list, designed to help the Sage sales team and channel partners to identify add-ons that work with all Sage products and recommend them to qualified customers.
