RentJuice Unveils New Mobile App, Enables Brokers and Agents to Grab Rental Leads While On-the-Go

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwire) — 05/04/12 — RentJuice, provider of lease marketing technology to thousands of real estate property managers and brokers, today announced a major new release of its iPhone and iPad applications, which gives brokers and agents a distinct advantage in fielding leads. Agents can immediately respond to new leads, communicate and share content with them, and trigger RentJuice-s convenient online leasing process.

The new version sends leasing agents push notifications so they can immediately respond to assigned leads and claim first-come, first-serve leads as soon as they become available — once only possible using a desktop computer or laptop. Users can see the source of new leads — their Facebook page or Craigslist, for example — and a contact email and phone number. Users can tap on each lead-s search criteria to browse matching listings. Leads are separated into the following categories: “unclaimed leads,” “active leads” and “inactive leads,” in addition to “all active leads” for administrators only.

The mobile app provides a first of its kind, dedicated address book that allows RentJuice customers to keep all historical clients separate from their personal contacts. After claiming a lead, the associated contact information is automatically added to the special address book. Users can quickly access and contact leads directly from this easily editable list of current clients. Users can also add new leads to their RentJuice database via the app while out of the office. Active leads are stored locally on the device, so users do not need an active Internet connection to be able to access critical contact information.

Users can utilize the app to communicate with their clients throughout their relationship, from sharing relevant listings and photos to accessing a stored list of saved listings for a client. The new mobile application also integrates RentJuice-s unique online leasing platform, enabling agents to send rental applications and other documents to clients for online signature. Being able to send information and documents in need of execution — as well as keep track of the status of each item — while out in the field allows for a new level of efficiency, enabling users to close deals right away.

“Agents are most effective out in the field with clients,” said David Vivero, CEO of RentJuice. “Putting an entire leasing office in a phone or tablet means customers can take on more appointments without missing out on valuable opportunities to get additional leads, service them, and close deals, all without touching their computer.”

The new iPhone and iPad apps also include an advanced search and sort function for listings. Users can now search for available units closest to their current location, for example. Agents can leverage this location to identify other potential units of interest when working with clients in the field or to find a nearby listing to photograph using the camera on their device.

RentJuice is an online platform that allows property managers and landlords to instantly share their availabilities with partner companies for free to shorten vacancies and improve communication. The Company also offers a paid upgrade that provides agents, brokers and leasing offices a “virtual rental office,” available from a browser, iPhone or iPad. RentJuice recently introduced online lease signing for renters, as well as the ability for consumers to fill out RentJuice-s “Common Application” online one time in order for their personal information to subsequently prepopulate any real estate office-s custom leasing-related forms. From powering a leasing agent-s Facebook page and WordPress website to offering outsourced data entry and automatic ad syndication to dozens of consumer websites such as HotPads, Zillow and Trulia, RentJuice makes every step of the rental marketing process simpler.
