Ad Valorem Launches Advataxes, Online Solution for Employee Expenses

MONTREAL, QUEBEC — (Marketwired) — 04/17/13 — Ad Valorem is launching a new online accounting software, Advataxes (), designed for employee expenses.

This new and innovative way of handing employee expenses was developed to facilitate the integration of the GST, HST, QST and income tax rules. With the increasing complexities of these Canadian tax rules, Advataxes was designed to handle the limitations of in-house templates. These tax rules have been embedded into predefined categories (i.e. meals and entertainment) where automated tax amounts are based on jurisdiction and date. These predefined categories automate the calculation of input tax credits (ITC), input tax refunds (ITR) and recapture of input tax credits (RITC).
