curasan AG: Dental Business Unit acquired as of June 1

Kleinostheim, Germany, June 6, 2013 – curasan AG, Germany, has acquired a large part of the “Oral Regenerative Medicine” division of Riemser Pharma GmbH, Germany, effective June 1, 2013.

curasan AG now owns the marketing and distribution rights for the products covered by the contract and is assuming the sales structures, including the na-tional and international customer base.

As a result of this change, curasan has immediate access to the dental market in the USA, Canada, Australia, Latin America, Japan, Korea and China. Nu-merous Asian and Eastern European countries will be added upon receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals which are in process.

“The acquired sales organisation provides the major advantage of being able to introduce two new innovative products, namely Cerasorb® Foam and Cerasorb® Paste, in Europe immediately”, explained CEO Hans Dieter Rössler. “We now not only offer the top products for bone regeneration, but also the widest prod-uct line specifically designed to meet the needs of our users. Our goal is to double our sales in 2013 as compared to 2012, and to triple them in 2014.”
