EndPlay Strengthens Sales Team With New Sr. Director of Sales, Matthew Barkoff

LOS ANGELES, CA — (Marketwire) — 01/04/12 — , a leading SaaS provider of Web Content Management (WCM) solutions, today announced the addition of cloud-based solutions sales veteran, Matthew Barkoff, as the company-s new Senior Director of Sales, focusing on media and entertainment verticals. With a new team structure in place and a continued commitment to superior service, including the activation of a National Account Management Program, EndPlay is poised to cultivate additional industry relationships and drive strategic growth with multinational corporations.

“We have a big vision for EndPlay, and smart, savvy team members are integral to our success — Matthew is not only a proven team leader but also a great fit with our corporate culture,” said Dr. Christos M. Cotsakos, Founding Chairman, CEO and President, EndPlay. “With a strong team in place to field the ongoing demand from organizations to distribute and monetize their growing catalogs of content, we-re positioned to kick off the New Year in an extremely solid way.”

Barkoff brings more than 15 years of strategic sales experience across several verticals — including enterprise, media and entertainment — to his new role at EndPlay. Most recently, Barkoff held a similar role at Badgeville, driving new business strategy for the cloud-based rewards platform. Barkoff-s previous experience also includes lead roles at Clickability (acquired by Limelight Networks), where he drove the company to record revenue growth for five consecutive years, as well as Overture (acquired by Yahoo!) and Netmosphere (acquired by Critical Path). As Senior Director of Sales at EndPlay, Barkoff will oversee the media and entertainment verticals and will be charged with developing new business relationships and supporting current clients in these key segments.

“As the leading SaaS system, EndPlay represents an amazing opportunity for the current WCM market, and by leveraging my experience, I look forward to leading the team into new frontiers,” said Barkoff. “The dynamic leadership team already in place combined with a commitment to continuous innovation is unparalleled and offers a healthy foundation to propel EndPlay towards exceptional growth.”

Jeff Dyer, a member of EndPlay-s Executive Committee and previously Vice President of Sales, will continue to play a lead role in client services and transition into a new role as Vice President of National Accounts. Dyer is responsible for driving company-wide revenue and market share as well as developing corporate relationships with key prospects requiring a WCM system that suits the entire enterprise. Additionally, Dyer will lead the development and support of business and sales channel partners to ensure market continuity and coordination. Dyer will be working closely with Barkoff, as well as other key individuals on EndPlay-s client services team — including Arun Shrestha, Senior Director of Client Services; Gregory Lorenz, Director of Professional Services; Tom Damico, Director of Sales; and Adam Burke, Inside Sales Representative — to support current and new initiatives aimed to exceed clients- expectations of EndPlay-s services.

“Christos and I have developed a plan to build on the foundation our team has already laid out with proven track records and strong relationships across target markets, and further educate audiences on how EndPlay can drive value to organizations- content ecosystems,” said Dyer. “With our refined focus for 2012, we strengthen our commitment to offering superior WCM solutions and services to our current and new clients, on an international scale.”
