Shawn Winter has been announced as PiiComm-s new Vice President of Markeng and Product Development for the rapidly growing technology firm.
Based in Oawa, Mr. Winter will be responsible for Corporate Markeng and new Product Development to support PiiComm-s customer requirements and the company-s expansion into new vercal markets and services.
Mr. Winter brings an extensive range of experience to his new role with over 17 years of wireless and telecommunicaons experience. His most recent role was at Motorola Soluons Inc. as part of the Canadian Channel team responsible for managing relaonships with Carriers and resellers of Motorola products for Enterprise and Government. He successfully enabled the VAR community to promote and deploy technologies that make companies more efficient and compeve in the marketplace.
Early on, Mr. Winter clearly showed his ability to idenfy the strategic importance of wireless technology and was a key individual at Bell Canada responsible for launching their 802.11 Wireless LAN pracce serving business customers several years ago before Wi-Fi was a common term. Since that me he has added Mobile Compung Devices (MCD) for field workforces, Advanced Data Capture (AIDC) soluons including Barcode and RFID technologies, Wireless Security and Wireless VoIP to his porolio.
