Oracle Delivers New Mobile Applications for Oracle-s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

Further demonstrating its commitment to supporting the mobile workforce, Oracle today announced , and applications.

The new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne mobile applications deliver personalized services that extend user choice and help improve productivity by delivering management solutions that can be accessed at any time or from anyplace.

With the new mobile applications, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne customers can gain real-time insight into sales orders, item availability and item-based pricing. Customers now also have the ability to easily review and approve requisition self-service orders and purchase orders on mobile devices.

This news was announced at Oracle-s JD Edwards Summit. The event takes place January 31st – February 2nd, 2012 in Broomfield, Colorado with over 600 attendees from 29 countries.

The new mobile applications available for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, include:

Mobile Requisition Self Service Approval – Provides real-time transaction processing for the review, approval or rejection of requisitions.

Mobile Purchase Order Approval – Helps enable mobile workers to review and approve purchase orders regardless of physical location.

Mobile Sales Inquiry – Addresses the needs of sales representatives, service technicians and managers by providing access to sales orders, item availability and item base price on-demand.
