LOYAL3 Names Chien-Liang Chou Vice President, Engineering

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwire) — 02/27/12 — Chien-Liang Chou has been hired as LOYAL3-s Vice President of Engineering, effective immediately. LOYAL3 has created a platform that enables public companies to sell their stock directly to customers from the company-s website or Facebook page, without any fees to buy or sell. Chou will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and quality assurance functions for the company.

“Chien-s knowledge and expertise in software engineering is unparalleled,” said Barry Schneider, CEO, LOYAL3. “His proven track record in building exceptional products and bringing them to market makes him an invaluable asset to our company. We are beyond excited to have him on board.”

Chou joins LOYAL3 with 14 years of software engineering and operations experience. Previously, Chou was a principal member of the technical staff at Salesforce.com, responsible for leading teams to drive technology innovation. Prior to that, Chou was the Senior Engineering and SaaS Operation Manager at FirstRain, a B2B software analytics company.

Chou has a M.S. in Financial Engineering and IEOR from Columbia University and a B.S. in Information Management from National Taiwan University.

LOYAL3 offers a web and social media platform that enables companies to sell their stock directly to customers in a way that is easy and affordable for everyday Americans. It-s called a Customer Stock Ownership Plan, or CSOP (“see-sop”). The CSOP is designed to provide an easy and convenient way for companies to make public offerings of their stock directly from the company-s website or Facebook page [with no fees].

Companies engaged in an Initial Public Offering or IPO, which makes their stock publicly available for the first time, may also use LOYAL3-s platform for the offering of an IPO CSOP (also known as a “Social IPO”). And companies making a follow-on public offering may use it to offer a Follow-On CSOP. Both the IPO CSOP and Follow-On CSOP are offered alongside a traditional underwritten public offering.

Customer-owners spend more, refer more and stay customers longer than ordinary customers. As a result, client companies are motivated to convert customers to shareholders to increase loyalty, branding and liquidity.
