Speech Button is an augmentative and alternative communication app for children and adults who are or who have difficulty speaking. It was born out of a collaboration of ideas between two practicing therapists from Winnipeg, Canada. – School Psychologist and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and – Speech-Language Pathologist.

Too many apps marketed to people with have been created by computer techs who do not truly understand the needs of their users. Speech Button was developed by clinicians who work on a day-to-day basis with people with special needs, and thoroughly understand what this population requires in an app. Speech Button was created in response to a need for ready-made, easy-to-use apps that allow children and adults with special needs who are non-verbal or who have difficulty speaking to communicate and enjoy a better quality of life.
Speech Button is currently available on iTunes and the trial version is FREE to download. The full version of Speech Button can be downloaded at a price of $7.99. Speech Button is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iTouch.
