PARIS, FRANCE — (Marketwire) — 03/21/12 — Anevia, a leader in video streaming solutions and service infrastructure for live TV and video on demand (VOD), today announced that it has deployed an IPTV solution for the BNF (Bibliotheque Nationale de France) National Library of France.
The BNF is the largest French-language library in the world with a collection of over 14 million printed books along with millions of digital and multimedia assets. Serving an important role in academic, scientific, and literary research, the BNF also hosts hundreds of conferences, round-table discussions, and professional training courses throughout the year.
Anevia offers a range of products including DVB to IP gateways for delivering internal IPTV services within corporate and academic environments. Anevia ViaLive gateways have been deployed at the BNF in order to stream live video over internal IP networks. IPMS middleware was integrated into the system for providing viewer control of streams from over 40 locations spread across the library-s multiple facilities, and remote locations. The system was installed by Comstar, a certified Anevia partner specialized in corporate and hospitality network integration.
