American Advertising Federation-Houston (AAF-Houston) and American Education Foundation of Houston (AEFH) Host Annual Scholarship Luncheon on April 18, 2012, Featuring Internationally Renowned Speaker Kevin Knebl

HOUSTON, TX — (Marketwire) — 04/11/12 — Social Media has completely revolutionized the fields of Public Relations and Marketing, and 11 lucky students will not only get some much needed funds to support their education in these endeavors, but they will also get expert advice from author Kevin Knebl, one of the most sought after speakers on Social Media in the world.

The AEFH Scholarship Winners for 2012 are: – AEFH Scholarship of $1500; – Bill and Sharon Young Media Education Scholarship of $1500; – Bill and Sharon Young Media Education Scholarship of $1500; – Brett Elliott Education fund of $2000; – Rich Klein and Bill Fogarty Communications Scholarship of $2000; – Houston Media Classic Education Fund of $2000; – Jean Brown Scholarship Fund of $1500; – Locke Bryan Director-s Scholarship of $2000; – Lopez Negrete Hispanic Marketing Education Scholarship of $2500; – Saurage Research Academic Distinction Scholarship of $1500; and – 4-Guys Interactive Scholarship of $1500.

The Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Junior League of Houston, 1811 Briar Oaks Lane, and tickets for the luncheon can be purchased through for $35 for AAF-Houston members; $45 for non-members; and $30 for students.
