SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — (Marketwire) — 07/03/12 — For the second straight month, it was pop star Justin Bieber leading the way in dominating fashion in – Monthly Top Events rankings, as compiled from June 1-30, 2012.
Thanks to having a full month for ticket sales to , Bieber more than tripled the power score of any other event in the rankings. He will be embarking on his Believe tour beginning on September 29 at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ.
Making a big leap in the rankings this month was the joint tour from Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, moving up to No. 4. The two country music heavyweights kicked off the Brothers of the Sun Tour on June 2 and have seen , selling out large capacity stadiums in Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; and Foxboro, MA.
The highest ranking sports team in the rankings is the New York Yankees, who moved up seven spots from May, landing at No. 6. The Bronx Bombers were a Major League best 20-7 in June and sit atop their division.
