Released earlier this summer, Staree allows users to post photos and videos from their mobile device or desktop and share them with friends through Facebook and Twitter. The new photo props are a fun way for users to spice-up everyday photos, while creating in-app revenue opportunities for IZEA and their celebrity partners.

The photo props are delivered in packs that each include multiple items. Initially the packs include funny eyes, funky glasses, party-time, duct tape and “fright night” at no charge to users. Users can purchase additional packs including bacon, mustaches, hats or mouths for $.99 each through an in-app purchase on their iPhone device.
“According to data from the 2011 Verizon Developer-s Conference, 72 percent of app revenue comes from those that feature in-app purchase options. The company intends to release a new in-app purchase option each month.
