ScreenRetriever Named as Finalist in N.H. TechOut Competition

SUDBURY, MA — (Marketwire) — 09/13/12 — ScreenRetriever, a developer of for parents and children, has been named a finalist in the inaugural New Hampshire TechOut, an award program designed to recognize and support promising young companies and advance technology innovation in New Hampshire and its neighboring states. Selected from a very strong field of early stage technology companies, ScreenRetriever will compete with five other finalists for one of three grand prizes on September 20.

TechOut, organized by the New Hampshire High Tech Council and abi Innovation Hub, is a startup competition for tech-based companies that were formed less than three years ago, have raised less than $250,000 and have less than $250,000 in revenue. TechOut provides cash awards annually to three companies: $50,000 for first-place, $30,000 for second place, and $20,000 for third-place. While the first and second place winners are chosen by a panel of judges, TechOut uses a unique approach for the third-place prize: the winner is crowd-sourced at TechOut-s competition finale, where the audience votes for the winner from a group of finalists. This year-s finale will be held September 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Nanocomp Technologies headquarters in Merrimack, N.H. is now open for this event.
