Prior to this appointment, Mallon served as vice president of product management for the company.

Mallon has more than 24 years of experience in the IT and telecom industries with corporations such as Pure Networks, TeleGea, Atreus Systems, Nortel and IBM, including six years at Sigma Systems. He has spent the past 15 years working to develop business and operational support systems for advanced IP services including VoIP, WiMAX, IP VPNs, IP Video and high speed data access. He has experience in senior positions across product management, business development and strategic planning. Mallon has a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a MBA from the University of Ottawa.
