GreenQloud Launches Renewable Energy Powered Compute Qloud(TM) and Storage Qloud(TM) Cloud IaaS Solutions at DEMO Fall 2012

SANTA CLARA, CA — (Marketwire) — 10/02/12 — GreenQloud, the world-s first Truly Green cloud computing company, today announced the launch of two clean infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud solutions, Compute Qloud and Storage Qloud, at DEMO Fall 2012, world-renowned for launching the most innovative companies in enterprise, mobile, cloud computing, consumer, social media and disruptive technologies.

GreenQloud has two primary goals: to make the IT industry more sustainable and to make the cloud easy to use. GreenQloud uses highly efficient hardware and is the only cloud IaaS provider powered by 100% renewable energy.

GreenQloud offers scalable, secure and distributed high performance servers and on-demand storage as well as an easy-to-use management console. GreenQloud APIs are compatible with the most widely used IaaS clouds, which makes migration to its greener services simple.

GreenQloud is ideal for managing websites, web storage, backups, key-value databases, scaling web apps and scientific computing. GreenQloud-s Compute Qloud service can be utilized for easy server and application deployment while Storage Qloud is best for file management and back up storage, featuring drag & drop multi-file uploads. The GreenQloud management console enables customers to efficiently monitor usage statistics, server load graphs, bandwidth stats, the number of servers running, total storage used, estimated billing. GreenQloud-s Truly Green dashboard in the management console uniquely allows customers to monitor energy metrics and carbon emissions savings, which can be used to augment a company-s existing sustainability program.

“GreenQloud is building services to eliminate the time intensive management of data infrastructure — freeing valuable financial and human resources that can be redirected towards business growth,” said Eirikur Hrafnsson, Co-founder and Chief Global Strategist, GreenQloud. “Equally important, GreenQloud is providing Cloud services that reduce the IT industry-s significant and increasing dependence on fossil fuel powered energy grids and data centers.”

GreenQloud will provide a live, six-minute demonstration of Compute Qloud and Storage Qloud on the DEMO Fall 2012 stage at 4:48pm PDT on October 2, 2012 and will host live demonstrations beginning today at Booth #D42 in the DEMO Fall 2012 pavilion.

“Uses for Cloud Computing are evolving rapidly, especially as the technology has moved from practical applications only for the enterprise to broad use for SMBs and the consumer,” said Matt Marshall, executive producer of DEMO. “We are thrilled to showcase so many of today-s, and tomorrow-s, cutting-edge Cloud technologies from the DEMO Fall 2012 stage.”

GreenQloud offers Truly Green cloud computing virtual servers and data storage (IaaS) powered by 100% renewable energy. GreenQloud services feature an easy-to-use, self-service web console and advanced AWS-compatible API controls for full automation of IT services.
