Zenprise Hires Mobile Industry Veterans to Meet Global Demand for Innovative MDM Solutions

REDWOOD CITY, CA — (Marketwire) — 10/04/12 — Zenprise® Inc., the leader in mobile device management (MDM) security and innovation, today announced the appointment of Matt Peachey as the General Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), John Martens as the country manager for Australia and New Zealand and Brandon Conley as Vice-President of Sales for the Eastern United States. Zenprise is on track to hit triple-digit percent growth in 2012 and expands its leadership team to meet the global demand for MDM solutions.

“The team has done a great job acquiring customers, making partners successful, and making the company effective in the European, Middle East, and Africa regions,” said Matt Peachey. “Many of the largest customers — including the largest banking customer in our company-s history — have come out of this region. It-s a great starting point and I will continue this focus on executive.”

Peachey joins the European team with over 20 years of experience expanding emerging technology companies in the region. Most recently, as the vice-president of EMEA at Veracode and the first international employee for the company, he recruited the highly successful team and developed the business across the region. Prior to Veracode, Peachey started and led the Northern European business, and was part of the General Managing team for EMEA at IronPort Systems. He grew the business and transitioned it into Cisco-s Security Technology business unit after the acquisition in 2009. Prior to IronPort, Peachey was part of the early stage European team at Netapp where he met and worked with Zenprise CEO Amit Pandey.

As the first Zenprise country manager in Australia and New Zealand, John Martens brings over 30 years of experience leading and growing emerging technology companies in the region. He brings a unique blend of technical expertise, sales and managerial experience to the position having run and owned his own software and integration company, Group 42 for 13 years.

Prior to joining Zenprise, Martens started and managed Zscaler Inc.-s Australian and New Zealand business where he built the channels from the ground-up and evangelized the company-s cloud services. Before this, Martens ran IronPort-s Australian business including managing a team of sales, engineering and marketing professionals. Prior to his tenure at IronPort, Martens also ran the APAC business for Data Systems International where he developed critical partnerships in New Zealand, Malaysia, India and Singapore and grew the revenue four-fold in five years.

Brandon Conley becomes the third member of the North American sales management team, joining Howard Greenfield, Vice-President of Worldwide Sales and Mark Bickerstaffe, Vice-President of Sales for the Western United States. The goal for the aggressive team-building is to successfully meet the mounting demand for Zenprise solutions in a high-growth and dynamic marketplace.

Conley was previously the Vice-President of Enterprise Sales at SonicWALL, Inc, which was acquired by Dell in May 2012. He joined SonicWALL with the acquisition of Aventail in July 2007 and led the effort to expand the company-s presence into the large enterprise and carrier markets. Prior to the SonicWALL, Conley was Vice-President of North American Sales at Aventail, where he was responsible for all field operations covering both the commercial and public sector markets in the United States and Canada. Conley has over 15 years of experience in direct and channel sales and sales management with various technology organizations, including Oblix, Inc. (acquired by Oracle), GTE Internetworking, powered by BBN, and Pencom Systems Inc.
