GaN Systems Expands to New US Location

OTTAWA, ONTARIO — (Marketwire) — 10/18/12 — GaN Systems Inc, (“GaN Systems” or the “Company”), a leading developer of gallium nitride power switching semiconductors, announced today the opening of a new office located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The company has appointed Mr. Julian Styles, as Director of Business Development, to lead business development in the United States. This expansion in the U.S. will aid the company in continuing to impact key industries, like manufacturing and automotive, where the need for clean technology power conversion applications continue to grow. GaN Systems- head office is currently located in Ottawa, Canada.

An experienced executive with over 20 years- track record of helping international companies bring new technologies to market, Julian most recently led US/Swedish company Movimento Group-s successful entry into knowledge management for advanced automotive infotainment systems. Previously he helped lead electronics company Pi Shurlok (now Pi Innovo) to rapid growth in the US, based around innovative products for the automotive, transport and aviation industries.
