Corning to Showcase Latest Wireless Solutions at Mobile World Congress

HICKORY, NC — (Marketwire) — 02/24/13 — (NYSE: GLW) segment today announced it will showcase its full suite of wireless products at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, February 25-28. Corning will highlight how its multi-operator, multi-service (DAS), fiber connectivity and (FTTA) solutions cost-effectively and efficiently enhance wireless services.

Corning will showcase several products offered by Corning Cable Systems and Corning MobileAccess. Those include the , , and DAS solutions, and connectivity and cabling solutions utilizing multi-fiber connector technology, including low-profile FTTA hardened interconnect and terminal solutions.

Corning-s wireless solutions are designed to help carriers meet growing demands for wireless coverage and capacity. The company-s fiber-to-the-cell site products are high-bandwidth solutions that ensure carriers- backhaul needs are met, while its FTTA solutions offer reduced installation time and cost savings compared to traditional coaxial-based cabling.
