In the newly created position, Chaiken will use his extensive expertise in both the healthcare and information technology fields to help design, build, implement, and support , an innovative suite of applications that provide organizations the agility to quickly adapt to changing conditions, improve patient outcomes, and grow operating margins.

A 20 year industry veteran, Dr. Chaiken joins Infor from DocsNetwork, Ltd., where as chief medical officer he offered clients his expertise in strategy development, clinical transformation, and quality improvement. Dr. Chaiken is board certified in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health as well as Health Care Quality Management. He received a medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, NYC, and a master-s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. He served as a Board member (2006-2010), Board Liaison to HIMSS Europe (2006-2009), and Board Chair (2009-2010), and continues his involvement as a Fellow of the Health Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS). He is a frequent lecturer and is currently on the editorial board of the Journal of Patient Safety and the journal of Patient Safety and Quality Healthcare.
