Acer Thin Clients Now Citrix Ready HDX Verified

SAN JOSE, CA — (Marketwire) — 03/19/13 — Acer America today announced its running the Devon Terminal Operating System (DeTOS) for the Window Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) operating system are now Citrix Ready HDX® verified. Citrix HDX technology is a set of capabilities that deliver a “high definition” desktop virtualization user experience to end-users for any application, device or network. Citrix Ready HDX verified is reserved for thin client solutions like the Acer Veriton N2110G that have been verified to work with all of the HDX technology in Citrix XenDesktop® and Citrix XenApp®.

The Acer Veriton N2110G Series thin clients are highly configurable stateless devices with no moving parts, which boost reliability. These thin clients can save significant power costs when compared to traditional desktops. The Veriton N Series supports dual DisplayPorts with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600. Both VGA and DVI adapters are also available as options.

These high-performance systems are outfitted with a dual core AMD G-T56N processor, up to 4GB memory and AMD Radeon HD 6320 graphics for exceptional multimedia capabilities. Four USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports provide connections to digital devices, while integrated Gigabit LAN and wireless LAN are optional. These ultra-compact thin clients measure just 9.96- (H) x 8.35- (W) x 1.57- (D) inches.
