WALTHAM, MA — (Marketwire) — 03/20/13 — Teradek LLC () and Zixi LLC () announced today that new firmware is available for Teradek-s Cube encoders and decoders that substantially increases throughput when using Zixi. Starting with firmware version 6.2.4, current and new Cube users will be able use Zixi to stream at up to 8 Mbits/second when streaming to Zixi Broadcaster and up to 4.5 Mbits/second when streaming directly to a Cube decoder when using Cube-s built-in Ethernet port. In addition, users may now take advantage of Cube-s LCD screen for monitoring Cube connectivity and Cube-s USB port for connectivity while streaming with Zixi.
