SUNNYVALE, CA — (Marketwire) — 03/28/13 — (TPE: 2495), today announced five new additions to its ZFS-based EonNAS x10 Series — the 2-bay EonNAS Pro 210, the 5-bay EonNAS Pro 510 and the 8-bay EonNAS Pro 810 tower models, as well as the 4-bay 1U EonNAS 1110 and the 8-bay 2U EonNAS 1210 rack mount models. These new additions offer enterprise-class storage solutions that help SMB and SOHO users optimize file sharing, IP SAN applications, data storage and backup.
The new EonNAS x10 Series features Intel Atom Dual-Core 2.13GHz processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, USB 3.0 and two Gigabit LAN ports. Supporting up to 4TB SATA HDD in each hard drive bay, storage capacity can reach up to 32TB with the EonNAS Pro 810 and EonNAS 1210.
As part of the Infortrend EonNAS family, the newly-announced models offer comprehensive protocol support, enabling SMB and SOHO users to serve file- and block-based applications with a single device and achieve easy file sharing between different workstations in an office environment. Data storage is enhanced by enterprise-class features including data deduplication and compression for optimized resource utilization and the ZFS file system for end-to-end data integrity with corrupt data self-healing. Data is further protected by features such as unlimited snapshot, which offers space-efficient differential data copies to quickly rollback data or restore files in the event of data errors as well as storage pool mirror.
The EonNAS x10 series is also strategically-priced to be ultra SMB-friendly.
