SALT LAKE CITY, UT — (Marketwire) — 04/01/13 — Over the last two weeks, hundreds of companies have joined Mazree () — the social network built specifically for businesses. And the companies that have joined aren-t just small businesses; companies such as Microsoft, Dell, and Staples are among the new companies with profiles on Mazree.
Intermountain Healthcare, the largest healthcare provider in the Intermountain West and the largest company in Utah, signed on as one of Mazree-s first adopters. Since then Intermountain Healthcare has actively encouraged over 2,000 of its suppliers to also join the network. “We have already realized the benefits of having so many of our suppliers in a single network,” said Joe Walsh, AVP of Procurement for Intermountain Healthcare. “In a single post we can communicate to our entire supply base — something not possible without Mazree. It-s also been easier for us to identify the sales reps in our area and stay up-to-date with all of our suppliers.”
Mazree claims to be the first social network built for companies to connect and collaborate with other companies. We believe our suppliers are an important extension of our team and Mazree provides the network for us to more effectively collaborate and be more transparent with them.
