Acer America is now offering its Acer B6 and V6 Series LED-backlit displays combining smart ergonomics and eco-conscious materials for both professional customers and consumers in the United States. The new monitors offer a thinner body than the prior generation and a wide array of models in various screen sizes, which feature an in-plane switching (IPS), vertical alignment (VA) or twisted nematic (TN) panel depending on model.
The Acer V6 Series value line of displays focused on offering great quality at a good price is available in 17- to 27-inch screen sizes. The B6 Series premium line ranges in screen sizes from 19- to 27-inches and boasts a multi-function ergonomic stand, dual speakers and on select models, USB 3.0 with power-off charging for smartphones and other digital devices.

Both series tout a slim and clean design with venting integrated into the grooves for sleek and simple aesthetics. Neat cable management keeps cables organized, a storage tray houses common office items and a magnetic surface on the stand base accommodates paper clips. Both displays are VESA compliant, while an easy-release button makes changing the display-s location from stand to wall simple.
The Acer V6 Series offers tilt capability, which can be adjusted from -5 to 25 degrees for maximum comfort. The new Acer B6 Series premium line boasts a multi-function ErgoStand with tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment. These displays can be pivoted 90 degrees clockwise for both horizontal and vertical viewing. They can also be tilted from -5 to 35 degrees back in the high position and from -5 to 25 degrees in the low position. A 120-degree swivel provides more viewing angles with the ability to move the panel 60 degrees to the right or left without moving the base.
Depending on model, the Acer B6 and V6 Series displays come with an HDMI port, VGA/DVI input and/or DisplayPort, so users can connect to and view multiple displays simultaneously for more efficient multi-tasking. HDMI delivers both audio and visual content via one small cable to eliminate clutter and maximize space. DisplayPort delivers every pixel to the screen as rendered by the PC with the highest accuracy and fastest response required to support the display-s high resolution, refresh rate and color depth.
Acer-s advanced technology makes every pixel colorful and clear. Acer ComfyView non-glare protection provides a polarizer material to reduce unnecessary lighting reflection, which provides a more comfortable viewing experience. Outfitted with the Acer eColor Management tool, users can optimize image performance under different viewing scenarios.
A crisp 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio provides a very high level of clarity and up to a 5ms response time contributes to sharp images. Select models feature Full HD 1080p resolution and the Acer V6 Series offer a range of resolutions up to 1080p.
EPEAT Gold registered, the highest level of EPEAT registration available, the displays meet all of EPEAT-s required criteria and at least 75 percent of EPEAT-s optional criteria. The displays are constructed of mercury-free materials, arsenic free glass and use mostly recyclable packaging, reducing their environmental impact.
The displays are also LED-backlit, which reduce energy costs by consuming up to 68 percent less power than standard CCFL-backlit displays. ENERGY STAR and TCO qualified, the monitors adhere to strict environmental, performance and ergonomic design standards.
The new Acer B6 and V6 Series displays are available at Acer resellers in the U.S. Prices for the Acer B6 Series displays start at $155 and prices for the Acer V6 Series display start at $95. Like all Acer displays, both series feature a standard three-year warranty(1).
