Now in its 17th year, the CFO Awards recognize chief financial officers and financiers for extraordinary achievement and excellence in promoting the development of the Greater Washington region-s technology community, and include the following awards: Private Company CFO of the Year, Public Company CFO of the Year, Emerging Growth CFO of the Year and Financier of the Year.

For consideration, a company must have revenue under $50 million for the year that ended on December 31, 2012.
Winners will be announced at the awards banquet on May 29, 2013, at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Va. These awards are a joint endeavor of Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the chairmanship of the event is rotated among the four accounting firms. The chairman of this year-s awards program is Gina Gin, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
