Farelogix Appoints Bonnie Lowell as Lead Schema Architect

MIAMI, FLORIDA — (Marketwired) — 04/12/13 — today announces that it has appointed to the role of Lead Schema Architect. Ms. Lowell, a leading technology and travel industry distribution expert, will take chief responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the Farelogix XML schema including continued support for IATA-s New Distribution Capability (NDC) Standard. She will also represent the company in various industry working groups.

Lowell joined OpenTravel in 2009 where she introduced three new travel segments into the schema portfolio and led the company-s “2.0 Initiative”, focused on shifting the company-s existing standards from monolithic-style XML messages to model driven, object-based schema designed to work natively in enterprise applications and architecture.
