The IT security solution ViPNet OFFICE is now available in the new version 3.0.5. Infotecs GmbH, the specialist for high security software, expanded the existing software with numerous features to make the VPN solution even more secure, easier and more flexible for its customers and partners.
The user experience essentially improved in regards of installation and setup. Should it be necessary, for example in order to reduce hardware resources, the management component ViPNet Manager can now also be installed along with the server component ViPNet Coordinator on the same machine. In addition also the user interface of the ViPNet network structure wizard has been improved.
With version 3.0.5 the new ViPNet Security Gateway appliance as part of the software solution ViPNet OFFICE can be configured quickly and easily on a mini or industrial PC. For the rollout of such devices only the connection of an USB device with the corresponding file is necessary, the configuration is done automatically and without additional steps by the user.
Another not insignificant improvement is the compatibility with Windows 8. The program ViPNet Manager can now be set up on all devices, which work with the new operating system from Microsoft.
