GT Nexus and TradeCard Complete Merger; Commence Operations as GT Nexus

OAKLAND, CA — (Marketwired) — 04/25/13 — GT Nexus and TradeCard today announced the closing of their merger. The combined company will operate as GT Nexus with global headquarters in Oakland, CA and regional operating centers in New York City, Germany, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India and Sri Lanka. The merger creates the world-s biggest cloud-based platform for global commerce with over 25,000 businesses managing the flow of goods and funds on the platform.

In total, more than $100 billion in goods are managed on this single cloud platform. Customers are leaders across industries, including adidas Group, Caterpillar, Coach, DHL, Electrolux, HP, Levi Strauss & Co., Kohl-s, Nestlé, Patagonia, Pfizer, Renault and Weyerhaeuser.

“The companies that win in their respective markets will operate as networks across global partner communities,” said Sean Feeney, GT Nexus CEO. “The old ways of trying to use enterprise software to orchestrate global supply chains are giving way to network cloud platforms and GT Nexus is the dominant player in this arena.”

Global supply and demand is always on the move. Whether it is new sourcing strategies, new market expansion or unexpected disruptions, the path to operational agility begins with technology that is delivered in the context of a network. In the same way social platforms have changed the way people interact with each other, GT Nexus is transforming business to business commerce.

GT Nexus is the only network platform of its kind that fuses financial and physical supply chain processes in a single place. These workflows interlock in the real world of commerce and in the virtual world of GT Nexus, where the entire buy-sell lifecycle is enabled in coordination with thousands of suppliers, financial institutions, factories and logistics providers that operate on the platform.

“GT Nexus is an on tap utility for powering business networks,” added Feeney. “It could not have happened without cloud. But it-s here now, it-s proven and it-s transforming the way companies operate.”

GT Nexus operates the world-s largest cloud-based business network and execution platform for global trade and supply chain management. Over 25,000 businesses across industry verticals, including adidas Group, Caterpillar, Citi, Columbia Sportswear, DHL, Electrolux, Levi Strauss & Co., Kohl-s, Nestlé, Pfizer, Renault, and Sears share GT Nexus as their standard, multi-enterprise collaboration platform. This enables all network participants to operate against a core, real-time and always on set of information across multiple supply chain functions, allowing them to optimize the flow of goods, funds and trade information, from the point of order through final payment.
