SACRAMENTO, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/29/13 — RagingWire Data Centers, the nation-s premier data center provider, announced today that the company has implemented the NIST 800-53 moderate baseline controls necessary to support its customers- efforts. RagingWire also took the additional step of engaging BrightLine, a licensed CPA firm and the only Type A accredited FedRAMP 3rd Party Assessment Organization (3PAO), to perform an attestation examination of its controls implementation.

“RagingWire-s initiative to implement the FedRAMP specific moderate level NIST 800-53 controls should complement the efforts of service providers and systems integrators that work with federal agencies,” said Douglas Barbin, principal at BrightLine. “Obtaining an attestation examination, utilizing AICPA standards, of its implementation provides customers the third party verification that RagingWire-s information security program adopts elements of FISMA.”
