ANDTEK at the Cisco Expo 2010: High-class unified communications

Munich/Hallbergmoos, November 22 – ANDTEK’s lounge at the Cisco Expo 2010 will become the platform for high-class unified communications applications. With live demos the Munich-based unified communications specialist will present the advantages of a modern attendant console including legally binding voice recording, complete address and database integration as well as premium manager/assistant services. But ANDTEK provides for relaxation as well: visitors of the ANDTEK lounge have the opportunity to chill and forget the stressful fair a little bit during a relaxing massage. The Cisco Expo 2010 will take place in Berlin’s “O2 World” on December 1st and 2nd.

The first day of the Cisco Expo visitors will be presented among other things a unified communications solution used to record IP-based phone calls (at 1:30 p.m., ANDTEK lounge).
Secured against manipulation by certificates the recorded calls can be verified and are legally binding. Not only enterprises but also call centers, insurance companies, banks and emergency services use this solution.
It it possible to record phone calls either permanently or as required for example related to certain call numbers or emergency calls. The calls are always recorded from the beginning, even if the attendant activates the recording during the call.
This function allows the reconstruction of the exact wording and the calls are certainly recorded encryptedly. This is of high interest especially in business critical environments. The user profits twice: phone calls are transmitted secured against manipulation and still it is possible to record.

Following the presentation how phone calls can be recorded ANDTEK informs about an attendant console offering for unified communications applications (2:30 p.m., ANDTEK lounge). Besides the status of all phones within the company (internal/external phone call, number of the caller, etc.) the attendant console software offers highly efficient call handling services. Additionally the solution also generates call statistics like service level information (e.g. average duration of a call, accepted or missed calls, etc.). Banks, insurance companies and call centers appreciate this kind of information to enhance support and customer service.

By means of the latest Cisco IP phones of the “Unified IP Phones 8900/9900” series visitors of the ANDTEK lounge can not only get an idea of the advantages of this modern attendant console solution, but also test all manager/assistant services (among other things real-time status display, VIP lists, substitute rules) being completely available for this phone series (3:30 p.m., ANDTEK lounge).

The second day of the Cisco Expo 2010 visitors of the ANDTEK lounge will be presented how calls can be managed in a simple and convenient way on a large secondary display via touchscreen (10:30 a.m., ANDTEK lounge). The software engineered by ANDTEK allows the complete integration of all existing corporate directories and address databases. This way users can not only search for contacts with only one query but they can also connect the caller directly with the right person.
