China Glaze Nail Lacquer Sees Shiny Return With iOS Mobile Application by Phunware

AUSTIN, TX — (Marketwired) — 06/20/13 — Mobile cloud provider has been selected by nail lacquer industry leader China Glaze® to deliver consumers a personalized experience with a China Glaze iOS application. Phunware-s Mobile as a Service (MaaS) platform, designed to let brands engage, manage and monetize users, lets consumers interact with the beauty brand and match nail polish colors to any outfit, while driving consumers into local salons to purchase China Glaze products. In its first week, the China Glaze application was downloaded more than 30,000 times.

Designed and developed by Phunware, the application leads the fashion-focused technology trend with a “Match A Colour” feature, which enables users to take a photo of anything they desire — such as an outfit — from an iPhone®, iPad® or iPod® touch, and browse shade and texture polish options to match. A “Try It On” feature puts users in a digital fitting room, where they can virtually test polish colors on varying nail lengths and skin tone.
