BoxTone Delivers Enterprise Mobility Management Solutions for NTT DOCOMO to Support Growth in Japanese/APAC Market

COLUMBIA, MD and TOKYO — (Marketwired) — 06/27/13 — BoxTone, the innovator of unified (EMM), today announced a partnership with NTT DOCOMO, Inc., where NTT DOCOMO will embed BoxTone-s mobile device management (MDM) solution to deliver secure mobile device and application management to enterprise customers and develop more innovative mobile solutions in Japan. BoxTone software enables NTT DOCOMO to enhance and evolve their enterprise service of “Business Mopera Anshin Manager” to the next level.

“Business Mopera Anshin Manager” is an enterprise mobile service from NTT DOCOMO that provides a single unified web-based management system and addresses a broad range of remote configuration and control for corporate-contract devices (including i-mode feature phones and smartphones). Key MDM features include remote device lock, network access block, web access, white-list-based control and more. The service commenced in August 1st, 2006 and the number of users has grown to more than 4,000 companies.
