SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 06/27/13 — The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Silicon Valley Chapter today announced new speaker and conference details for its upcoming Innovation Conference 2013 to be held on July 18, 2013 at 5201 Great America Parkway in Santa Clara, CA.
In its second year, this annual conference is designed to deliberately create provocative and disruptive debates on cloud technology among industry experts, solution providers and end-users. The conference will open with the keynote “The Onward Maturity of Cloud Security” presented by Justin Somaini, Vice President & Chief Trust Officer, Box. The one-day event will also feature a power panel on “The Intersection of Innovation & Regulation – Does Regulation Hinder or Drive Innovation?” moderated by Jim Reavis, Executive Director of the CSA.
“Cloud computing is constantly evolving, changing and challenging us all. This year-s event will also include a keynote presentation by Carson Sweet, Co-founder and CEO of CloudPassage on “Real-World Cloud Infrastructure Use Cases – Risks and Rewards” along with track discussions around standards-based secure single sign-on, physical security threats in the cloud, how to adopt cloud security innovation and cloud gap use cases and solutions.
